All Right Meg, Let's Have A Look At That Bergina

Timbiriche, The Musical

(Notice published in the newspaper Reforma 12/01/2010)

After 3 years of first hearing, voice of Martha Carrillo, who produce a musical based on the music of the Mexican band pop "Timbiriche" , I read something official about it.

At the time a very silly Martha Carrillo admitted that his knowledge of music was nil, so he had gone to New York to see musicals in order to be inspired to write one with the music of the group to produce two reunions and the careers of artists such as Paulina Rubio and Thalia and as others with less success.

To my surprise I find in this note Rene Franco that also participated in the plot of this musical that took by name "Mirame" . I suppose that this Mexican musical will continue the tradition of "jukebox musicals" departing from music made popular in the past. Examples: Mamma Mia , Today I can not lift , Lies (of which have occurred in Mexico).

The production is performed by Alejandro Gou (Mascabrothers).

I have to admit I will run to see as it is released, but doubting the quality of it, because people without experience in music (Carrillo and Franco) are involved. Still gives me grief in our country the world of entertainment is not taken seriously and respect.
